I received my SeeStar S50 after 3 month wait. Here are the first pictures

I placed an order for the SeeStar S50 in late August and received it in late November. It is a competitor to the Dwarf 2 which are both about the same price (Seestar | Smart Telescope | S50) (DWARFLAB Official Website- Astrophotography Made Easy & Fun). Both have their strenghts and weaknesses. I intend to do more posts on that subject. My first impressions of the SeeStar S50 is that it gives clear pictures and is very easy to use. The downside is that you can't download the pictures directly from the SeeStar app. I will talk about that in a future post. I had to join a community website on the app. Then I uploaded my pictures to the community web site with the app.

From the community page you can then take screenshots of your photos. Here are a few of my first group of photos:

I have been reading about other ways to extract the photos and I will report on these in a later blog. In conclusion, I love the simplicity of the SeeStar. The clarity of the pictures are wonderful. However extracting photos for your album is not easy. This is something that the developers need to work on.
